bluefrog Plumbing + Drain Franchise’s New Leadership Team Makes the News

Business publications praise initiatives taken by the new leadership team of our plumbing franchise to aggressively grow the brand across the nation

Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, one of the fastest growing plumbing franchises in the nation, was recently spotlighted in a few notable industry publications.

Plumber magazine highlighted our plumbing franchise’s new strategic investment with MPK Equity Partners and Princeton Equity Group as well as their initiatives to grow the brand. The majority investment also includes our sister company Restoration 1, a Texas-based property restoration company. Franchise owners with both brands will benefit from plans to grow each brand’s portfolio by building or acquiring other relevant home service brands as well as exceptional support staff.

“This extraordinary partnership is a testament to the strength of our brands, the industries where we operate, and our confident abilities to take things to the next level in the service trades,” says Gary Findley, CEO of bluefrog Plumbing + Drain. “We’ve established an incredible track record for our franchise networks, and MPK and Princeton are outstanding investors to support our aggressive plans for continued growth.”

In Contractor magazine, Robin Wilcox, Operation Support Specialist for bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, was featured in the article “The Franchise Factor During COVID-19,” which highlights how our plumbing franchise delivered an exceptional customer experience during the pandemic. This started with being as proactive, as well as hosting weekly training, operational and financial coaching sessions to help our franchisees with PPP loans and drive results during an unfortunate time, according to Wilcox.

“COVID-19 made it clear that things can change in an instant, and as an essential business, it’s our job to be able to pivot our business to meet the needs of our customers,” Wilcox says. “Bluefrog HQ did the necessary legwork for franchisees by creating resource relationships that the entire network could utilize rather than the franchisees needing to find themselves.“

Additionally, bluefrog Plumbing + Drain implemented a number of safety procedures to minimize risks of exposure to our franchise owners and customers.

“When customers called to schedule service, customer service representatives determined the level of risk to plumbers to be aware of any active cases before scheduling a plumbing service,” Wilcox explains. “PPE became a uniform standard. And if a technician was in an area with known contamination, they would be wearing extensive PPE working, including masks, gloves, eyewear, and, possibly, disposable garments.”

Bluefrog’s exceptional leadership took things a step further by not only rolling out a no-contact service, requiring customers to remain six feet from plumbers, but also promoting safety by sanitizing all gear in between jobs, avoiding the swapping of tools, encouraging franchisees to stay home if they displayed any symptoms of the coronavirus, as well as rolling out service options via FaceTime for customers who did not want anyone in their home.
